PLAY AREA REFURBISHMENT

Abbey Hill Parish Council have refurbished the small play area on the redway behind Atherstone Court in Two Mile Ash.

After requests from residents, parish councillors set aside funding and initiated a project in partnership with Milton Keynes Council contractors to repaint and repair the area.

The rear fence which was rotten in places has been removed.

The whole area was cleaned.

The swing frame has been repainted and a brand new ‘you and me’ swing installed.

The missing bench has been replaced.

The seesaw has been refreshed with new paint.

The safety rails to the rear of the slide have been repaired.

On the other side of the redway, two old broken pieces of play equipment have been removed, the damaged tarmac has been cleared and the whole area returned to nature. This has improved the appearance of the overall area.
